Ochsner LSU Health is seeking a nursing leader based in Shreveport, Louisiana. The role requires a Registered Nurse Diploma and at least 5 years of nursing experience, with an emphasis on managing operational aspects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and improving productivity within clinical settings. Strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills are essential for success in this role, which involves heavy physical work and patient interaction.
This job creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements in the Program. This job identifies resources needed and manages day‑to‑day operational aspects of the Programs and updates the team on a regular basis. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and coordinates delivery of plan of care.

Must be capable of moving and lifting boxes, equipment and fixtures weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be able to move throughout the department, the hospital and between off‑campus sites. Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue. The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases.
