Job summary

Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is seeking a Professional Development Practitioner (RN) to lead education program development for antepartum units. You will plan, design, implement, and evaluate staff education to improve clinical competence and practice.

As a nurse educator, you will collaborate with clinical leadership, use ANPD standards, and support lifelong learning with a focus on safety, quality, and professional growth. A BSN and Florida RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related clinical experience required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Florida.
• National specialty certification in area of practice must be obtained within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing needs assessments and formulates educational plans based on the data collected.
• Develops and coordinates the orientation process for assigned areas.
• Actively participates in quality and safety initiatives.
• Implements educational programs to enhance the competence and skills of nursing staff using innovative teaching methodologies.
• Uses ANPD standards to develop education and evaluate department outcomes.
• Maintains documentation and reports on educational interventions and outcomes.
