Job summary

IHA in Des Moines, IA is seeking a registered nurse to provide individualized, high‑quality nursing care to patients of all ages. You will work with a team to delegate and coordinate care during admission, transfer and discharge, using the Nurse Practice Act and Mercy Medical Center policies.

The role requires Iowa RN license, BLS within 6 weeks, mandatory reporter training within 3 months, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire.

• Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa.
• Basic Life Support certified within six (6) weeks of hire. The acceptable credentialing body is the American Heart Association.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to populations served within three (3) months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and speak English language.
