Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced registered nurse for the Zayed 3 Prep/PACU unit. The 43-bed unit supports complex anesthesia and surgical services across multiple operating rooms and interventional suites.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license (Maryland or Compact), an Associate's degree in nursing, and BLS CPR certification. Enrollment in a BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire is required with degree completion within 4 years.

Shifts: 10-hour day; 5:30 am- 4:00 pm; on call per unit policy

The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Zayed 3 Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Prep/PACU) is a 43-bed unit that provides services to patients undergoing surgery and interventional radiology procedures such as cervical decompression fixation/fusion, open reduction internal fixation, microvascular decompression, kidney transplant, craniectomy, cerebral arteriogram, Intercranial embolization, and transarterial chemoembolization. Our unit supports the care being provided in 14 operating rooms, 8 interventional radiology rooms, and 2 CT rooms.

Qualifications

• Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered, provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 4 years of hire
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification required
• RN work experience required

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
