Job summary

HonorHealth’s Sonoran Medical Office Building in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced RN for the OR Preop/PACU to join a skilled nursing team. The RN will provide patient-centered perioperative care and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of Preop PACU experience, at least 1 year RN experience for float roles, and a strong background in med-surg or acute care.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Preop PACU (required)
• 1 year RN experience for float positions
• Med-surg or acute setting experience (>10 months)

Responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms, assist with diagnostics and tests.
• Develop and contribute to a care plan.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per protocols.
• Educate patients and families on home care and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to ensure quality care.
• Support staff development and precept new hires.
