Williamson Surgery Center is seeking a Part Time RN for PreOp/PACU to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia or sedation. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring safety and privacy throughout the perioperative period.
The role may involve assisting physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique, with schedule adjustments based on the surgical flow and day’s needs.
We have 4OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, Spinal, Urology.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge
