Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a full-time RN Preceptor in our Raleigh Visits office. The role blends direct patient care with mentoring newly hired clinicians, with a reduced patient caseload to support quality care and training.

The RN will work in Wake, Durham, and Johnston counties, providing supervision during orientation and hands-on guidance to ensure competency and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license.
• Prior home health experience required.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship, training, and clinical support to newly hired RNs during orientation.
• Accompany new nurses on home visits, demonstrate best practices and ensure competency.
• Maintain a small, manageable patient caseload for continuity of care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation per agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to evaluate progress and provide feedback.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for quality patient outcomes and service.
