Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a part-time on-call Registered Nurse (RN) to support Raleigh visits for adult and geriatric clients. This role requires current NC RN licensure, 1+ year clinical experience, and willingness to travel across Wake, Durham, and Johnston counties with EMR documentation proficiency.

On-call shifts run Monday 5:30 PM through the following Monday 8:30 AM, with 2 weeks per month required for triage and visits. Prior home health experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Perform home visits in Raleigh area and surrounding counties.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to Clinical/Client Services Manager.
• Document doctors' orders and follow up as needed.
• Conduct client assessments and coordinate case management.
• Accurately document observations and interventions using a touchpad tablet.
