Avera is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team at its hospital in Sioux Falls. You will obtain medical history for pre-surgical and radiology patients and provide education.

You will assist in chart completion for surgeries and procedures and support care coordination across services. The role emphasizes assessment, triage, care planning, and education with attention to outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the hours specified and perform each essential function.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform duties and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and sounds.

Responsabilités

• Collects patient health data and documents nursing history via phone interviews.
• Initiates anesthesia record and home medication record.
• Ensures appropriate in-hospital referrals to provide optimal patient care.
