• Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
• CPR certification required within orientation period.

• Perform preoperative nursing assessments, including medical history review, medication reconciliation, and identification of potential risk factors that may affect surgical readiness.
• Conduct preadmission interviews and provide tailored pre- and postoperative education to help patients understand instructions, expectations, and recovery considerations.
• Document assessment findings, teaching, and care-coordination activities accurately within the electronic health record to support clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical teams, and other departments to address clinical concerns, ensure required testing is completed, and optimize patient preparedness.
