Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in ND or compact state required.
• BLS certification required within orientation period.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months in department.
• TNCC course to be completed after orientation to PACU.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused pre-operative assessments and review patient histories for surgery.
• Monitor patients post-anesthesia and in recovery, evaluating airway, vitals, pain, and stability.
• Administer medications and document care in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families on surgical prep, post-procedure expectations, pain management, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teams for efficient patient flow and safety.
