Job summary

Qualifications

• Current or temporary ND RN license.
• CPR certification required within orientation period.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive preadmission nursing assessments and medication reconciliation.
• Conduct preadmission interviews and provide tailored education for perioperative care.
• Document findings and teaching in the electronic health record to support decision making.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical teams, and perioperative staff to ensure readiness and clearances.
• Identify and escalate abnormal findings to the appropriate providers for timely clearance.
• Participate in quality-improvement and safety initiatives to enhance preadmission services.
