Trinity Health in Minot, ND is seeking an experienced RN in Surgical Nursing to support patients recovering from operative procedures. You will perform postoperative assessments, manage pain, monitor surgical sites, and coordinate care with surgeons and teams to ensure safe recovery and timely discharge.

The role requires North Dakota RN licensure or compact, BLS within orientation, and a collaborative, patient‑centered approach in a fast-paced surgical unit.

Formación

• Current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure.
• BLS certification required within orientation period.
• Hospital experience is preferred but not required.
• RN program evidenced by licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Perform postoperative assessments and monitor vital signs and surgical sites.
• Administer medications, wound care, and therapeutic interventions.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, therapy providers, and case management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and safety.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives in the surgical unit.
