Qualifications

• Current IL nursing licensure required.
• NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in peri-anesthesia (PAT, Pre-op, PACU/Phase 2).
• Strong background in pre-admission testing preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC Application.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to Endeavor Health's mission and quality standards.
• Conducts patient interviews by telephone prior to scheduled surgeries.
• Provides patient education by phone regarding upcoming surgery.
• Informs patient of pre-anesthetic evaluation process.
• Collaborates closely with the Anesthesia provider team.
• Ensures pre-surgical testing is completed before appointment.
• Maintains nursing knowledge reflecting current standards.
• Promotes hospital quality improvement goals.
• Directs assigned personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Communicates with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
