Job summary

Qualifications
- Licensed registered nurse in IL.
- Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of peri-anesthesia experience.
- Proficiency with EPIC is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative telephone education and instructions.
- Inform patients about pre-anesthetic evaluation process.
- Collaborate with anesthesia team to ensure safe perioperative care.
- Ensure required pre-surgical testing is completed.
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care on a designated unit.
- Guide unlicensed staff and maintain nursing standards.
