Job summary

Scottsdale Endoscopy Center is hiring a RN Pre Op PACU Full Time to provide continuous nursing care to patients before and after procedures. Under supervision, you will implement physician orders, monitor patient status, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the perioperative phase.

The role includes training to work as an OR Circulator in the Endoscopy Suites, with requirements including an active RN license in Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, implement physician orders and ensure continuity/quality of nursing care.
• Evaluate patient condition continuously and ensure safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation and prepare for discharge.
