Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a preoperative nurse or in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using OR equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care with staff in surgery suite.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for preoperative and PACU.
• Administers medication per standing protocols.
• Provides patient with explanation and reassurance consistently.
