Job summary

Texan Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for PreOp/PACU to provide quality nursing care for patients. This role requires evaluating patient's conditions, assisting in procedures, and offering comprehensive care post-anesthesia. Candidates should have an accredited RN education, active license, and relevant certifications.

The position offers weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or on-call shifts. Benefits include medical coverage, retirement planning, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state required.
• BLS and ACLS certification essential.
• 2 years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, including conscious sedation.
• Provide total patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia.
