Job summary

Mountain View Surgery Center at Scottsdale is hiring a Part Time Registered Nurse with PreOp/PACU experience to join our team. The RN Pre-op/PACU will provide care in PreOp/PACU and during the circulating phase of surgery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The facility operates in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center setting and emphasizes quality care. The RN will align with our mission to care for every patient and family, while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and patient

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1-3 years of PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Position and prep patients in PreOp/PACU, including positioning and prepping.
• Circulate cases during surgery and provide nursing care per medical plan.
• Support the mission, vision and values of Mountain View Surgery Center at Scottsdale.

Job Summary

• The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be working in PreOp/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.
• The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years of previous experience in PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
