Job summary

Mountain View Surgery Center at Scottsdale is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse with PreOp/PACU experience to join our team. The RN provides quality patient care in PreOp/PACU and circulating during surgery, in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

We value a nurse who is licensed in Arizona, with 1–3 years PreOp/PACU/Endoscopy experience, BLS/ALS/PALS, and strong aseptic technique. Flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in Arizona.
• 1–3 years of PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy experience preferred.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience is strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS certifications required.
• Solid knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in PreOp/PACU and circulating during surgery.

Job Summary

• The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be working in PreOp/PACU (responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient) and circulating the case.
• The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years of previous experience in PreOP/PACU and Endoscopy.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
