Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Bismarck, ND. The role entails determining donor eligibility, reviewing tests and donor safety, and handling adverse events under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician. A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is offered.

Required are ND-licensed RN/NP/PA, CPR/AED, and at least two years clinical experience. Training and compliance with plasma regulations are expected as part of BioLife responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state where responsibilities are assigned (RN/NP/PA).
• Current CPR and AED certification mandatory.
• Familiarity with regulations of plasma collection industry.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, history, physicals and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with EHS when needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations.
