Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Bismarck, ND. You will ensure donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and communicate with the Center Physician for medical decisions.

This part-time role supports a fast-paced plasma center with a focus on safety and quality. Requirements include RN/NP/PA licensure in state, CPR/AED, basic IV therapy training, and at least two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must have active nursing license (RN/NP/PA) in the state of assignment.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience preferred.
• Familiarity with plasma center operations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for complex medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Manage incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS as needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
