Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Bismarck, ND. You will assess donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, and review lab results under physician guidance.

The role supports safety, regulatory compliance, and donor care in a fast-paced center; must hold RN/NP/PA license, CPR/AED, and have hospital experience; sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Current state RN/NP/PA licensure or certification
• CPR and AED certification
• State requirements for basic IV therapy
• FDA training completion for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
• High school diploma or equivalent with nursing program credential

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility incl. informed consent and donor history
• Manage donor adverse events per SOPs and center guidance
• Review laboratory test results and notify unsuitables
• Assess donor reactions and arrange medical care if needed
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health reports
• Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs on medical issues
