Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care RN to provide life-saving care to infants, children and adolescents in a high-acuity setting. You will monitor patients, administer complex therapies, and collaborate with the pediatric care team and families.

The role emphasizes rapid assessment, ventilator support, family education, and meticulous documentation. A strong foundation in pediatric critical care, current RN license in the state of practice, and BLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of pediatric or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs continuous assessment and monitoring of critically ill pediatric patients.
• Manages ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex medication administration.
• Recognizes and responds to rapid changes in pediatric patient condition, including codes.
• Collaborates with physicians, respiratory therapy, and child life specialists on plan of care.
• Provides age-appropriate education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and patient response in the medical record.
