Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Provide patient care within the scope of practice for the licensed Registered Nurse.
• Process orders, return patient calls, and notify of diagnostic results as directed by the physician.
• Document care provided in the patient's medical record.
• Facilitate effective patient flow and assist with prioritization of work assignments.
• Assist with maintenance of adequate supplies and perform equipment safety checks.
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Follow safety and regulatory guidelines including HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention, and participate in unit-based performance improvement activities.
• Demonstrate good customer service and teamwork with patients, families, and staff.
