Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as Registered Nurse in North Carolina (BCLS).
• Education: Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in physician offices, urgent care, or emergency department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the RN scope of practice and supervise prioritization of tasks.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Perform patient assessment, assist with exams/procedures, administer meds, and educate patients.
• Process orders, return patient calls, and relay diagnostic results per physician directive.
• Document care provided in the medical record accurately.
• Support patient flow and assist with workload prioritization.
• Maintain supplies and perform safety checks on medical equipment.
• Adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Follow safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA/OSHA) and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Provide compassionate customer service to patients, families, and visitors; communicate effectively and support a team environment.
