Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an RN Periop-Procedural Team Coordinator for the OR tissue coordination role. The position focuses on staffing, staff competency, and adherence to AORN guidelines across Perioperative services.

You will collaborate with SPD leadership and nursing teams to optimize operations, recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback. The role requires CNOR certification within 12 months of hire and SC RN licensure, with additional Frontline Nurse Leader

Qualifications

• CNOR certification within 12 months of hire.
• RN licensure by SC Board or compact state.
• Onboarding and leadership development participation is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead Working Specialty Groups (WSGs) and ensure CTMs attend regularly.
• Monitor OurDay postings and interview candidates within 1–3 days.
• Collaborate with Perioperative Leadership to standardize procedures and workflows.
