Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks an RN Periop-Procedural Team Coordinator to proactively support Perioperative services. You will lead staffing, mentor CTMs, and ensure safety and efficiency across OR and SPD units.

The role requires a BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with CNOR within 12 months, plus 2 years OR scrub/circulate experience and onboarding participation in leadership programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing from an accredited school or BSN program with 4-year completion and perioperative experience.
• CNOR certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Onboarding in Frontline Nurse Leader Development Program within 6 months.
• Minimum 2 years operating room scrub and circulating experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing solutions for Periop areas in collaboration with leaders.
• Lead Working Specialty Groups and document outcomes in minutes.
• Coordinate with SPD and Periop units to improve workflows and safety.
• Participate in S3/RCA events, education and audits for service improvements.
