Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a Clinical Manager to oversee and develop the ambulatory surgical center’s clinical departments, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, scheduling, and supervision. The role requires strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to manage staff at all levels.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing; Bachelors preferred.
• Must have current uninhibited Texas RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Three years of operating room/critical care experience.
• Three years of RN management experience; outpatient surgery area a plus.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others.
• The knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Staff Nurse are required for this position.
• Must be familiar with State and CMS regulations for accreditation of Outpatient Surgery or Hospital

Responsibilities

• Hire, evaluate, mentor, schedule, and supervise clinical staff.
• Develop strategies to manage program growth and ensure business sustainability.
• Generate revenues for clinical services and manage client billings.
• Communicate with management team and other departments.
• Attend mandatory in-services and meetings.
• Support annual Safety and Competency education sessions.
• Act in accordance with the center's vision and mission.
