Nursa is seeking Registered Nurses to join its growing per diem network in Grand Junction, Colorado. RNs will provide and coordinate care across diverse settings, with responsibilities spanning assessments, care plans, and patient education.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and 2–3 years of high-acuity nursing experience. Per diem roles offer flexibility and fast payment through Nursa Direct, with robust training and support.

Qualificações

• Current and valid RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• 2–3 years nursing experience, high-acuity settings (ICU/ER/Med-Surg) preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with prolonged standing and safe patient handling.
• Ability to provide compassionate and reliable care.

Responsabilidades

• Collect information and assess a patient's condition by taking vital signs, medical history, and performing examinations.
• Monitor, record, and report patient responses using EMR/EHR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and coordinate patient care plans.
• Supervise LPNs, nurse assistants, and other support staff as needed.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Perform clinical procedures including wound care and specimen collection.
• Prepare shift handoff reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Advocate for the patient and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and family on health promotion and self-care.
• Safeguard PHI per HIPAA and maintain infection control with PPE.
• Document and report safety events and ensure regulatory compliance.
