Nursa is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for per diem assignments in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will provide patient care across diverse settings, including hospitals and long-term facilities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care.

Responsibilities include vital signs, medication administration, and patient education. Licensure and BLS/CPR are required, with 2–3 years in high-acuity areas preferred. Per diem hours offer flexible scheduling and rapid payout options.

Qualificações

• Current and valid RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• 2–3 years experience preferred in high-acuity settings (ICU/ER/Med-Surg).
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Collect information and assess patient condition by taking vital signs and history.
• Monitor and document patient responses and condition changes in EMR/EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and coordinate care plans.
• Supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses and support staff as needed.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Perform clinical procedures including wound care and specimen collection.
• Prepare shift handoff reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about health promotion and self-care.
