Description:The Pediatric PeriAnesthesia Unit is a specialized unit focusing on pediatric preoperative and postoperative care.It is designed to provide care for pediatric patients requiring overnight observation or an extended recovery following surgery.This unit offers comprehensive, family-centered care from preoperative preparation through postoperative recovery and surgical observation.Nurses collaborate closely with anesthesia, surgery, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care.They perform ongoing assessments, manage pain and recovery, provide patient and family education, and coordinate safe discharge planning.Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills are essential for recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.The team is committed to delivering exceptional care while ensuring a safe, compassionate, and supportive experience for every child and family.
