Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for the Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room. The position involves managing pediatric cardiac cases, assisting surgeons, and delivering comprehensive pre- and post-operative care in a 13-week assignment.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in Pediatric CVOR, BLS/ACLS certification, and experience in cardiac/open heart surgery. The unit operates 7 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1:1 patient ratio where applicable and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Experience in cardiac/open heart surgery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operating room and assist surgeons during pediatric cardiac procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.
• Coordinate with anesthesia and perfusion teams to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow.
• Provide post-operative assessments and ensure adherence to care plans.

Description:The Pediatric Operating Room is seeking experienced RNs.This unit has 8 ORs and employs a staff of 25 members.The operating hours are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.Patient ratios are 1:1, although this is an estimate and not guaranteed.The role involves managing the operating room, assisting surgeons, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre- and post-operative care.Preferred candidates will have pediatric experience and CVOR/cardiac experience.The team values good communication and teamwork skills.Successful candidates will be able to function across multiple service lines.Common procedures performed in this unit include orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, plastics, and cardiac surgeries.Strong patient care experience is prioritized.
