Corewell Health's pediatric neurology clinic in Grand Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing support for children and families. The role centers on telephone and electronic patient-message triage, using critical thinking and the nursing process to assess and manage care.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license in Michigan, with an Associate's degree preferred and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time daytime schedule in a hospital-based outpatient setting.

About the Position

The Pediatric Neurology Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing support to children and families receiving care within a high-volume, fast-paced pediatric neurology practice. The primary focus of this position is telephone and electronic patient-message triage.

Scope of work

As a Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll use your critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You'll be responsible for upholding the standards of nursing excellence as described by the ANA, including the code of ethics. You'll be a vital member of our team and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan
• Upon Hire Required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required
