Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time clinic support teammate to assist Pediatric Neurology, Neurosurgery and Neuropsychology. The role is as-needed with training for the first 4–8 weeks and cross-trained across Pediatric Neurosciences to perform clinical and clerical tasks.

You will room patients, prep for visits, handle scheduling calls and manage records, while delivering high-quality care in a collaborative setting under RN or provider supervision.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• 2 years of insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience.
• 2 years of clinical care experience is required.

This position is not guaranteed hours, its as needed based on availability. However it will require at least part time throughout the first 4-8 weeks for training. This is a shared role supporting Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Neurosurgery, and Pediatric Neuropsychology. This team member will be cross-trained across Pediatric Neurosciences and will perform a variety of clinical and clerical tasks.

Scope of work

This team member will serve in a clinical and clerical role. The team member delivers quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider; they also provide clerical support in complex matters to assist in the delivery of value-driven health care services. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

• Making patient phone calls for scheduling, follow-ups, and information gathering.
• Administrative support, such as managing records and assisting with paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• 2 years of Insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support experience
• 2 years of clinical care experience
