Dayton Children’s Hospital is seeking an Infection Preventionist to lead the hospital-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program. You will provide direction to staff, collaborate with the Medical Director, and apply epidemiological principles to improve patient safety and care quality.

The role covers surveillance, policy development, staff education, and regulatory compliance with OSHA, The Joint Commission, CMS, and CDC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Master of Nursing degree is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Shares responsibility for the hospital-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Provides direction and leadership to assigned personnel.
• Assists in maintaining the organization-wide Infection Prevention Program with the Medical Director.
• Contributes to analysis, development, and implementation of epidemiology-based methods.
• Promotes patient safety, advocacy, and quality care with outcomes.
• Develops and implements infection control programs and education.
