Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in nursing, microbiology, public health, medical technology or related field required.
• Master's degree in Nursing/Public Health preferred.
• CIC certification from CBIC required.
• 3 years of clinical/patient care experience plus 2 years in Infection Prevention required.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments and committees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infection surveillance, prevention and control program development and evaluation.
• Conduct surveillance, outbreak investigations and data interpretation.
• Communicate findings to committees and healthcare workers; develop policies and protocols.
• Lead education and training initiatives for staff on infection prevention.
