Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active RN license (unencumbered).
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium-high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
