Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for travel assignments in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on developing and evaluating patient care plans while upholding hospital standards and Vibra Travels’ mission.

Qualified candidates have 1 year in PCU, ICU subs, active RN license in Virginia, ACLS/BLS, and willingness to travel. Latex flex and lodging support may apply; other client needs vary by facility.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Registered Nurse in a PCU is required.
• 1 year ICU experience may be substituted for the PCU requirement.
• Recent acute care experience.
• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Current, valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implements, evaluates and revises a care plan for assigned patients and families.
• Supervises Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, CNAs, and Techs as applicable.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties:

Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year as Registered Nurse in a PCU is required.
• 1 year experience in an ICU may be substituted for experience requirement if client is agreeable.
• Recent acute care experience
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Other certifications such as PCCN may be required by some clients.
