Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Registered Nurse for travel assignments nationwide. You will be matched with a single recruiter from start to finish and have access to local and non-local opportunities across partner facilities throughout the country.

Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining clinical competency in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from Vibra Travels-approved vendor.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Position Supervisory Responsibilties

Supervises the following positions: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (ex ACLS, PALS, NRP)
