Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, and monitor responses.

This full-time night-shift role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Florida RN license, and BLS. EPIC and Cerner EMR experience are preferred. Benefits start on day one and you will grow within a faith-based healing ministry.

Qualifications

RN is required with Florida license and BLS.
Experience in critical care is preferred.
Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Provide education and counseling to patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
Document patient care activities in the EMR accurately and timely.
Ensure compliance with regulations and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment following infection control policies.
Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols.
