Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Registered Nurse to provide pre- and post-operative care. The RN coordinates high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians and teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience while monitoring and documenting care and medications.

The role requires ACLS and BLS within 30 days, a nursing degree and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers.
• Advocate for patients to support an exceptional patient experience.
• Assess patient condition each shift and report changes promptly.
• Document care in the patient chart and monitor medication effects.

Education

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS)

Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree
