Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina seeks a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. You will support pre-operative and post-operative nursing and advocate for patients to enhance the patient experience.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, procedures as ordered, thorough documentation, medication administration, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensed professional.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in nursing.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or functions ordered by the provider.
• Document care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.
