Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date
• RN license (RN) required
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes in status
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care
