Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a qualified RN for a full-time night shift position. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
RN licensure in Florida or eligibility to practice in Florida.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising as needed.
Administer medications and treatments accurately per orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
Document patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes timely in the medical record.
