Job summary

Cynet Health in Webster, TX is seeking a qualified RN for a 13-week PCU Tele unit assignment on the night shift. You will care for acute care patients in a 10-bed unit with 1:3 to 1:4 ratios, using EMR and standard ICU‑stepdown protocols.

Required: 1 year of RN experience, active RN license, ACLS and BLS; IMCU/Progressive Care/ICU‑Stepdown experience; ability to float as needed; 12-hour shifts with blue scrubs and night rotation.

Description:The unit has 10 beds and is staffed with a charge nurse and three registered nurses on the night shift.Patient ratios are maintained at 1:3 and 1:4.Equipment used in the unit includes Bipap, Trach vents, and an Electronic Medical Record system.Candidates must be familiar with medications such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and 3% Saline.Procedures performed on the unit include chest tube insertion.The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach and a positive attitude.Four weekend shifts are included in the schedule.Floating may occur to the IMCU/Stroke department.Dress code is blue scrubs.
