Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel PCU RN to join our team. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit, ensuring comfort and safety of patients while aiding in their recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions and monitor vital signs.
• Provide and evaluate patient care, treatments, and medications.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Record patient information and maintain updated healthcare records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - can obtain within the first 3 weeks of arrival to the facility
• A valid nursing license with permanent address of +50 miles from the facility
• Previous experience in a progressive care unit is preferred.
