Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for delivering safe patient care in the ICU. The RN will perform assessments, implement care plans, and communicate changes to physicians. Required qualifications include a valid RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS, along with at least one year of critical care experience. Job description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients, communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic studies, and abnormal results. The RN must respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditions and/or responses to treatment while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
