Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN for PCU to support a combined PCU and medical-surgical unit with a neuro emphasis in Lexington, KY. You will float between units and care for overflow patients, including epilepsy monitoring responsibilities.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in PCU, EPIC experience, and an active RN license (compact or state). Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required; you will work in a 12-hour night shift with a 1:3-5 nurse-patient ratio and interdepartmental

Description:Combined PCU and medical-surgical unit.Will be expected to float between the two units.Emphasis is on neuro patients, but will care for overflow patients.Must be trained on epilepsy monitoring unit for monitoring and interviewing epilepsy patients.Nurse-patient ratio is 1:3-5 depending on acuity.Local travelers within specified radius are not accepted.Will be expected to work three out of five winter holidays.Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required.Experience in telemetry, pre/post neurosurgery, and seizure disorders is necessary.Must have the ability to care for various patient diagnoses.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.Candidates will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities.Must be aware of rehire eligibility policies if previously employed.Modules are billable but not included in non-billable hours.
