Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for a 14-week PCU assignment in Augusta, GA. Night shift, 12-hour blocks (19:00–07:30), with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and census around 30–36 beds.
GA or Compact license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required, with a minimum of 1 year in progressive care or telemetry. Candidates must care for a diverse age range and work in a neuro/stroke environment alongside interdisciplinary teams.

Description: Minimum experience required is 1 year. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. The work setting requires no block scheduling. Patient assignment will involve Progressive Care Unit level patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, with an average daily census of 30 and 36 beds available. Staffing includes floating within the facility as needed, adhering to the scope of practice. There are no call requirements. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, working on that holiday is expected. Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is necessary to start on time. Non-compliance will result in a two-week pushback due to the orientation schedule. Compliance with mandatory vaccines is required. Orientation and training are provided. Preferred charting system experience includes Epic. Skills in various nursing procedures and protocols, such as managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, are imperative. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Travelers must adhere to a clear RTO policy, with a maximum of 7 days off allowed during the contract. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission.
